Weller's patented design reduces the intensity and duration of floor vibration, impulse and impulse duration, and the resultant force on the athlete. The higher rate of force development on the downward motion of the spring, and lower rate of force development on the upward motion cushions the athlete. The two-layer Baltic birch deck increases stability. The impact time is longer which means the peak force transmitted to the athlete is decreased. At full deflection Weller doesn’t go “solid” or bottom out. All levels and weight receive comparable bounce creating a level playing field. Amazing!
